Who We Help

Confused About MBBS Abroad? You're Not Alone.

Every year, thousands of bright students miss MBBS in India by a narrow margin. We give you the facts — no false promises, no inflated costs.

📉

Low NEET Score? Options Still Exist

Of 21 lakh NEET aspirants, only about 1.05 lakh secure MBBS seats in India. If you missed the govt cutoff by under 100 marks, consider one more attempt. Otherwise, NMC Approved foreign universities are a legitimate path forward.

📋

Is That Foreign MBBS Valid in India?

Post the NMC Gazette (Nov 2021), the rules changed significantly. Many countries that were previously valid may no longer meet requirements. We verify NMC compliance before recommending any university.

💰

Beware of "18 Lakh" Promises

Many consultancies advertise 14-18 lakh packages that exclude hostel, food, travel, insurance, and misc costs. The realistic budget at a quality university is Rs. 25-35 lakhs total. We'll show you the full picture.

🏢

Understanding NMC and NeXT Rules

New NMC norms require 54-month course, English medium instruction, host country license, 12-month supervised India internship, and clearing the NeXT exam. We explain every requirement in plain language.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions About MBBS Abroad

Honest answers to the questions every student and parent asks us.

Out of 21 lakh NEET aspirants, only about 1.05 lakh secure MBBS seats in India (government and private combined). If you missed a government seat by fewer than 100 marks, one more NEET attempt is worth considering. If the gap is larger, NMC Approved MBBS abroad is a legitimate, globally recognised path to becoming a doctor.
The minimum qualifying NEET score to be eligible for MBBS abroad varies by year and category — generally between 97 and 130 marks. You do not need a high rank; you just need to clear the qualifying threshold. Contact us to confirm the current cutoff for your reservation category.
Yes — provided the university is NMC Approved and all NMC gazette conditions are met. After returning to India, you must complete a 12-month supervised internship and clear the NeXT (National Exit Test). All Wisera partner universities are pre-verified for NMC compliance.
Agencies that advertise 14-18 lakh packages typically exclude hostel, food, travel, books, insurance, and miscellaneous costs. The realistic all-inclusive budget at a quality NMC Approved university is Rs. 25-35 lakhs for the full 6-year program. For budgets below Rs. 20 lakhs, we strongly advise against falling into misleading packages.
Yes. Under RBI regulations, Indian students pursuing education abroad can avail education loans from nationalised banks. The amount depends on parents' income proof (three years of ITR or salary certificate). Visit your nearest nationalised bank branch for terms and conditions. We can assist with the documentation process.
Per the NMC Gazette (18/11/2021), a foreign medical graduate must: complete a minimum 54-month course in English medium with mandatory Schedule-I subjects; complete a 12-month internship at the same foreign institution; obtain a license to practice medicine in the degree-awarding country; complete a 12-month supervised internship in India; and clear the NeXT exam. Failure to meet any single criterion bars NMC registration.
Key factors: NMC gazette compliance confirmed, host country medical license available to Indian students, English medium instruction, city population above 7 lakh for patient exposure, university age minimum 70 years in medicine, WDOMS/WHO listing, Indian Embassy in the country, and international airport in the city. Our counselors shortlist universities that meet all these criteria for your profile and budget.
